MembershipThe mission of the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation is to preserve the Kruckeberg property and plants in trust as a garden and open space for public benefit. The Foundation seeks members who want to support our mission. Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation members provide the invaluable support needed to preserve this exceptional garden. The advantages of membership include priority enrollment and reduced fees for educational workshops and classes sponsored by the Foundation, advance notice of Garden events, members-only Open Days at the Garden, the very informative quarterly Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Newsletter, and a tour of the Garden for new members (we will contact you with the date of the next scheduled tour). Members are eligible to participate in the annual election of Directors and are encouraged to attend the annual membership meeting. Join the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation today and help ensure the future of this very special Northwest garden. Please print, fill out and mail the Membership Application (PDF) to: KBGF Membership or join online through our secure PayPal option.
DonationsDonations are tax-deductible. In January 2000 the IRS approved the Foundation's application for designation as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Cash donations may be mailed to our post office box. Contact us if you have a non-cash donation and we will work with you to arrange its delivery. The Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation is built on philanthropic support. Employer matching gift programs are a great way to double your contribution. Microsoft, Bank of America, Starbucks, Key Bank, Boeing, Bon MarchÈ, Safeco, Washington Mutual, and many others, will match employee gifts to nonprofit organizations such as Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation. You can obtain the necessary form from your payroll office. Another way to contribute to the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation and make a lasting impact on the continuation of its mission is through a gift of securities. Please contact Kathie Morino, the KBGF Treasurer, at (425) 771-9199 for more information. We welcome contributions of equipment to strengthen our capabilities. Our wish list includes:
