KBGF Book Club Forming

Do you love plants and books? Want to get to know others who share your interests? Join our new Book Club!

Great books and great plants go hand in hand in the Kruckeberg Family. Starting in January, the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden Foundation will continue to honor and foster that connection by sponsoring a plant-themed book club to discuss books related to gardens, horticulture and botany.

Topics to choose from may include: garden how-tos, design and landscape architecture, plant hunting and plant history, famous garden writers, botanist biographies, sustainable gardening practices, and more. We may plan occasional speakers and field trips to the Kruckeberg Botanic Garden, and other local gardens and natural areas.

Meetings will be held one weeknight/month at the Shoreline library beginning in January. Details will be decided as a group, with input from librarians and group leader, KBGF Docent, Carolyn Pauw Barden.
